Third Time

This is the last in a series of three February Mount Sutro hikes for plum blossom viewing.  Feb. 22 was the best, although it seemed there were more blooms last year. Pix often don't do it justice, so do go explore in person.

Up the Farnsworth stairs to start:  1

South to the end of Edgewood Ave.:  2 thru 6

Edgewood Trail up to the road:  7 thru 24

Views from  the road: 25 thru 37

When turning the corner on a medical building’s stairway on my way down to the parking lot, dismayed to see a bare, cleared-out slope where there would normally be green:  38

Upon reaching  the permits-only parking lot to access the steps down, the lot was now fenced at its west edge:  39

Also fenced was at a small circle of green on the lot:  40

Why did they feel the need to add all this unsightly fencing around here?

Along the slope, just to the left of the top of the stairs leading down from he parking lot, more cleared-out ground with no moist green below (as there normally would be this time of year), and with fencing around this area too:  41

Down the 136 steps, wondering what horrors might await my next visit re all this fencing and forest clearing, as work here was obviously ongoing:  42 thru 51

I like meandering around on San Francisco's park trails and public stairways, sometimes taking photos, and enjoying nature and the outdoors.
