Lower Historic up to the road: 3 thru 20
Along the road: 21, 22, 23
Uphill past the East Ridge trailhead on Johnstone to the Quarry Road Trail, the native plant nursery below: 24 thru 30
Along the Quarry Road Trail but this time not descending to Clarendon. West to the trailmarker for the summit: 31 thru 35
Between the upper Historic and summit trail, a narrow trail. part of the West Ridge Trail, took me just above the Historic to the uppermost part of the West Ridge Trail - just before the summit: 36 thru 39
Google Maps is still not showing the newer trail extension from the Quarry Road Trail down to Clarendon. Nor do they show that the Christopher Trail descends from the South Ridge Loop (LOVE this area) to Christopher Dr. in the Forest Knolls neighborhood. The Belgrave trail, my name for it, is unnamed but the trail itself is shown clearly on GM.
Out to the summit. It is so dry and bleak up here where there are many planting flags. We’ll have to wait and see what comes up. Used to forage for dandelions by the benches but didn’t see any this time: 40, 41, 42
Down the North Ridge Trail from the summit: 43 thru 46
Downhill along the road: 47 thru 50
136 steps descend from the permits-only parking lot to behind the UCSF medical buildings. The #43 bus stop is on Parnassus: 51 thru 57
