Moraga/16th Ave. tiled stairway, Golden Gate Heights
Solitary urban hiker / "old hippie" / environmentalist / strong preservationist / treehugger and San Francisco history buff. Rider of public transportation (no car) who enjoys walking San Francisco's hundreds of public stairway-streets and park trails. A favorite pastime is to meander about taking photos and appreciating various architecture, things of nature and parks, including San Bruno Mountain and Sausalito. Some goals: to better learn to identify local edible herbs, wildflowers and other plants, birds and other wildlife; different architectural styles; to be more observant. Drawn to tiny houses.
Most wished for: A small house of my own with a bit of space and/or deck outdoors for container gardening.
Favorite music: Traditional bluegrass, old-time music; Brad Leftwich, Foghorn Stringband, Carolina Chocolate Drops, New Lost City Ramblers, Carter Family; Son jarocho (Mexico) and other Latin music styles; rancho folclorico and fado (Portugal); Native Hawaiian chant-songs.
