A Chinatown alley on the way to Telegraph Hill for a visit to the Vallejo garden steps:   1, 2

Valljo stairgarden foot to top (Montgomery partway to Kearny):  3 thru 45.

There are older sidewalk steps on both sides. The concrete slab in the center was too  steep for vehicles. Sometime after I moved from here in the late 1970s, a center zigzag stairway was constructed.

Vallejo:  46

Downhill to the Kearny dead-end for vehicles at Vallejo and the Peter Macchiarini Steps (west side this time) to the foot at Broadway.

The Kearny St. sidewalk steps were named in 2001 for artist Macchiarini who had a studio on Grant Ave.: 47 thru 61
