Starting this one at the Presidio’s15th Ave. Gate, round to the left, just above Lobos Valley Overlook: 1
Up Battery Caulfield Road to Washington: 2, 3, 4
Trailing alongside the residences, the the lower one to the 13 (in all) boardwalk/steps and picnic table: 5 thru 17
31 older wood steps to the west edge of Rob Hill Campground: 18 thru 28
Around on the right just outside the Campground: 29 thru 34
Noticed several tents in the area but no people: 35, 36
Down 12 steps, crossing narrow dead-end Central Magazine Road for a favorite short trail thru a forested area that descends to the backs of homes in the Fort Scott neighborhood: 37 thru 45
Crossing at the foot of this trail for Wisser Ct. that dead-ends at the Fort Scott Community Garden, saw a big, lean coyote across the street (Upton Ave.) who disappeared (walking) round the corner of one of the large residences. A second later neighborhood dogs started up from inside their homes. Slothlike reflexes and these guys don’t exactly stand around posing for pix, so regret no fotos.
On to the Fort Scott Community Garden, probably my favorite of all San Francisco’s community gardens: 46 thru 115
The open garden gate on the east side and steps down: 116, 117
Back out the way I came in to meander round the Fort Scott neighborhood on my way north to the second bridge bus stop (#28): 118 thru 126
