Off the bus at Gold Mine, winding to Berkeley Way in the Diamond Heights neighborhood, soon ft the Onique steps one block down from the top of this three-block-long stairway.

Descending the remaining two blocks (first two pix) to the east rim of Glen Canyon for the trail alongside the guardrail at Diamond Heights Blvd. (pic 3), and down the 37 older steps from Elk & Sussex: pic 4.

A short walk to the north on the main trail will take you to the first long stairway-trail climbed in the previous post: 5 thru 10

Up the 129 steps to the trail fork (pic 11)  with Crags Court above, this time took the one I often take all the way from Crags Court, now downhill from the rocks:  12, 13, 14, 15

90 steps from here to the foot at the main paved trail. So 90 + 129 will give you a total of 219 for this particular route.

Continuing north to where the trail starts to climb out to Portola: 16 thru 23

South on the main eastside trail for the 68 steps on the north side of the climbing rocks: 24, 25, 26. 27

Uphilling (pic 28) to another stairway that got extended to 79 steps. It starts down from the top eastside trall that’s just below Christopher Park: 29 thru 36

Top trail and park infomap: 37, 38

Down to Diamond Heights Shopping Center from Christopher Park: last pic.

I like meandering around on San Francisco's park trails and public stairways, sometimes taking photos, and enjoying nature and the outdoors.
