Up from the N-Judah stop at 16th Ave. to ascend the Hidden Garden Steps, pix 1 thru 7, 148 steps:

https://www.facebook.com/pages/Hidden-Garden-Steps/288064457924739

At the top curved around a few blocks to the Golden Gate Heights neighborhood's other long tiled stairway (so far), the Moraga/16th tiled 2005, 163 steps: 8, 9, 10.

At the top of these, nearby is a street divider stairway (28 steps, pic 11) up to the foot of Grandview Park’s zigzag stairway (144 steps), pix 12 thru 15.

68 steps up to the first green wood bench on the stairway; 116th for the second, pic 16.

Continued to the top and around the tiny high-up park, San Francisco’s tallest sand dune: 17 thru 21.

Down Moraga’s east stairway, 195 steps. 110 steps down to the divider stairs for this side of Moraga, Mount Sutro’s westside in the distance. Top to bottom: 22 thru 30.

How ‘bout tiling the east Moragas as well?. At the foot of these was at Moraga and Funston. Downhill took me back to Lawton so circled back to descend the Hidden Garden Steps (last two pix), passing the hoping-to-be-tiled top of the 15th Ave. steps (about 195).

Just some of the supertreats for devotees of public stairways in this 'hood.

Those tiled stairways are awesome, very beautiful work. Great views of the surrounding neighborhoods. You did a lot of walking - them's a lot of stairs! Careful on some of those steep stairways. Thanks for sharing.

I like meandering around on San Francisco's park trails and public stairways, sometimes taking photos, and enjoying nature and the outdoors.
