Climbed over the usual tree limbs on this “hidden” trail to start, but then didn’t see the usual trail continuation. Some tree branches were hanging over the trail to as to camouflage it and it looked impenetrable at first glance. Pushed under and through.
A little further on, blackberry shoots were reaching out across the trail as well. Did get some berries here – not a lot, but better than nothing. Give it another month. Lots of bees, damselflies, and a few butterflies keeping me company.
Hot today and exhausted after my hike, so since my route out of the Canyon and up through Diamond Heights took me nearly to Clipper, crossed it and waited a few for the #37 Corbett to take me down into the Valley.
